The supernatural abilities of vampires make them almost invincible, invulnerable to harm from all but a select few weapons. One of their abilities is Glamour, which is a form of mental compulsion similar to hypnosis. Being technically deceased, vampires can be noticed by their lack of body heat and heartbeat.
